This one featured gin, Cr\u00e8me de Violet, and bitters in a scotch-rinsed glass, &#8220;smashed&#8221; with sugar and loads of citrus and mint. Sipping this smooth, complex, outstandingly balanced drink on a summer evening was pure bliss.
